Dr. Douglas Elmendorf is the principal of Hillcrest Elementary School in Baltimore County, Maryland. He earned his Doctorate in Instructional Technology (Ed.D.) at Towson University, where he also served as a part-time lecturer for nine years in the Department of Educational Technology and Literacy. Dr. Elmendorf is currently a part-time lecturer in the College of Education at Johns Hopkins University. He is the recipient of several awards in the field, including the MSET Best Paper Award (2013) and Maryland ASCD Judith Ruchkin Research Award (2012). His primary research interest is K-12 technology in education.
